FRC Team 568 is an Alaska-wide robotics team founded in 2001. We are the only FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team in the state, and have members participating from all regions of the state. We are based at the University of Alaska Anchorage, however host virtual meetings for members across Alaska. Each season we are given an engineering challenge where we must build a robot to complete challenges.
In addition to engineering, we also work to embody the values presented by FIRST: innovation, education, friendly competition, and the development of intellectual and interpersonal skills. We participate in outreach events, engaging youth in STEM, literacy projects to bridge the gap between reading and STEM, and expanding the role of FIRST across the state.
